Personal data refers to any information that can, in some way, be linked to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a variety of such information. This occurs, for example, when you access content, subscribe to our newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, use other services, or make purchases via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP address, geographical location, and the pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you explicitly consent and provide information yourself, we also process: name, phone number, email, address, and payment information. This usually occurs when creating a login or making a purchase.

SECURITY


We process your personal data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR and the Danish Data Protection Act.
Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when this purpose is fulfilled or no longer relevant.
We have implemented technical and organisational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, degraded, accessed by unauthorised parties, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

PURPOSE


Information is used to identify you as a user and display ads most likely to be relevant to you, to record your purchases and payments, and to deliver the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimise our services and content.

RETENTION PERIOD


Information is retained for the period allowed under the law and deleted when no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for retention. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a general timeframe for when information will be deleted.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION


Data about your website usage, the ads you receive and possibly click on, geographical location, gender, age segment, etc., is disclosed to third parties to the extent this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the “Cookies” section above. Information is used for ad targeting.

We also use a number of third parties for data storage and processing. They process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Disclosure of personal information such as name and email will only occur if you give your consent. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that provide adequate protection for your data.

ACCESS AND COMPLAINTS

You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you in a standard format (data portability). You may also object at any time to the use of your data. You may withdraw your consent for the processing of your information at any time. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
