DURATHROUGH
Durathrough is an advanced cable entry system made from glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP), designed for efficient and safe routing of electrical cables in the field – particularly suited to green infrastructure such as railways and power supply plants.
The system consists of lightweight, low-friction modules, reducing resistance during cable insertion and withdrawal. The low weight (up to 70 % lighter than traditional concrete channels) makes handling and installation significantly easier – even in areas with limited access or where minimal load on the substrate is required
Durathrough is resistant to moisture, UV light and chemicals, requiring minimal maintenance throughout its lifespan. This makes it a long-lasting alternative to concrete from both technical and environmental perspectives. Its reduced weight also helps lower transport costs and CO₂ emissions, supporting sustainable construction practices.
Thanks to its modular design and precise joints, Durathrough can be easily adapted to various cable configurations and installation environments – including sloping terrain or bends. The system is available with accessories such as covers, fixing brackets and transition pieces.
